You'll know you've been spoken to.
Great route: friendly, funnily atmosphere: a proper test.
Malcolm Jeffrey
Great course, challenging and unforgiving, but beautiful and enjoyable.

Brutal but stonkingly good!
There’s something about this event that keeps drawing me back - or maybe it’s the RD’s aftershave? Thank you to all the helpers !
Josephine Corban
Technical trail run, well worth doing!
Derek Smith
A simply amazing event
Volunteers were amazing in extremely challenging conditions, the race was well organised throughout

Something completely different which you would struggle to find anywhere else!
What a cool organisation! Great event, I’ll be sure to look out for other events hosted by Bustinskin.

This is my first running for 2026. I did enjoy so much. The event organised very well, the cost of entry are good
I would like to express my gratitude to all the marshals who stood in the rain to support and encourage the runners.

Lots of rain and mud made the event more enjoyable in my eyes
Nicholas Kirton
Impeccable organisation, Marshalls and route - see you next year!
Peter Cashman
Felt very welcomed having never done a running event before, volunteer's and runnings all very happy & good spirits
The horrible weather actually made it more enjoyable.

A tough, hilly course with amazing marshalls
This isn’t a race for the fans of a flat, PB-setting course, but is for those who like a challenge and who aren’t afraid of setting your time aside to test yourself on varying terrain and steep slopes. The race organisation can be relied upon every time.

Great marathon with stunning views
Great race but a wet day made it so so muddy.
Quentin Brocklebank
Tough marathon but well worth it
#9 on marathon for me, will try next year to get #10 but sweat nowadays over cut off!
The course is as hard as all testify to here, but the navigation is obvious, organisation spot on, marshalls great (I thank all going round but then sorry to realise barely acknowledge at finish as just wiped), scenery always amazing (worth the sweat on better weather days!).
Mary Zarrett
Brilliant organisation and wonderful marshals/team
Thankyou for everything ... you are all such lovely people ... we will be back!!

Amazing Half Marathon with a difference!!!
This is one of the best/technically challenging Half Marathon. Loved every minute, even the Heartattack hill, which I was surprisingly well prepared for, having not done the event before. Will be signing up for it again next year. Atmosphere before the even was great, as was the support across the course, even though most of it is self navigation. Will be back again in 2026 to beat my time this year. Thanks again Bustinskin!!!

Amazing Marathon! Amazing Views! Amazing Route
Tough marathon, but what a marathon. The terrain is hard in areas and it works you. But the route is just amazing. Such amazing views. I would recommend this marathon any day. Would say make sure you bring lots of your own food/gels etc. There is a good amount of stations but some only had sweets at. The volunteers were great, all so friendly and help push you on each time you saw them. I was worried about the self navigation side of things. But downloading the route to your watch worked really well and the route is actually pretty easy to follow. Will 100% be doing this one again.

Loved it!
Thanks to all involved with making it happen.
