Only my second Sprint Triathlon, but what a great day. Loved the pool set up, saved me having to count the amount of lengths I needed to do. The ride was fantastic and the route up to Hardy's Memorial was hard but enjoyable. The run was great as well.

The event organisers and marshallers were great and offered encouragement all the way around on the whole course.

Very small thing, but I've suggested there are a few more marshals stationed in the last bits into the sports centre. Both at Osprey ( bike) and here ( run) the marshalls in the last bit they tended to congregate at the centre, whereas there were choices on the last mile of the cycle at Portland and from Holmead which my oxygen starved brain found difficult to process, with no marshals on it. I know we are supposed to know the route, but I can't really look at the map on my bike ( too busy trying not to fall off !) and in the run I'm not carrying it. Had to ask the photographer and bystanders where to run. If they could spread out a bit on the incoming stretches, that would be helpful. But a very small point. Both good days, and very life affirming!

My first tri...and it was a try...but I thought fantastic organisation, atmosphere, & marshelling. Great medal at the end. Swim in the pool, cycle up Harry's mount, (which you need to be physically ready for) & 5k reasonably flat route.

Great race, organised by a great team. Super value for money, can’t recommend more highly.

Maybe some bananas at the end?!

My first ever even today, was made welcome by everyone involved. The volunteers were brilliant and very encouraging and enthusiastic throughout the whole event. I will definitely be doing another event with Bustinskin.
